My Trip to the Magnolia Market

March 20, 2017

Happy first day of Spring! I have been longing for Spring and warm weather for a while now. I am so glad that Winter is officially over and I’m hoping it will start to warm up soon! Today I am sharing with you all my amazing trip to the Magnolia Market that I took this past week. I had been wanting to visit and I am so glad I had the opportunity to go to their Spring at the Silos event. They had an amazing vendor fair, along with food trucks and so many fun things to do. I had my camera out the whole time trying to take some good pictures! I got a few good shots super early in the morning when there weren’t too many people out, and some others throughout the day. This was an incredible trip and I can’t wait until I get to visit again! Their next big project is to work on the Silos, so I’m hoping to visit again once they’re finished! If you’re a fan of Chip and Joanna’s show “Fixerupper”, then this is definitely the place for you!

Can we just pause for a moment to talk about these cupcakes….they were SO good! There is seriously almost as much frosting as there is cake! They were honestly some of the best cupcakes I have had. My favorites were the strawberry and shiplap flavors. As you can see by the pictures, a lot went on during this fun festival! There were so many people there, and we had to wait in line for 45 minutes just to get into the store! It was so worth it though, as we found a bunch of cute things! My mom is hopefully ordering some cute things from the store that were too big to take on the plane, so I will definitely show you those if she does!

The whole place is absolutely adorable. Everything was thought through so well and I wish I could just move there and never leave! The garden is gorgeous, and beautiful flowers were planted everywhere. If you know me, you know I love pretty flowers in the Spring, and basically any time. I want to start planting some of my own!

I will say, even though I loved the vendor fair, it did make the Silos A LOT busier, which was expected, but could get a little overwhelming. If you don’t like super huge crowds, I would suggest going when there isn’t a special event going on. I loved shopping the vendor fair, and found some really cute things, but next time I plan to go when it’s a little less busy! Overall, I had so much fun and I would definitely recommend this cute place if you ever have the opportunity to visit!

Emily

It’s hard to move past things that hurt so deeply. I hope you will find peace in this post, because I understand how difficult letting go can be.

In other news, I’m feeling so pampered after meeting up with a friend to get a mani/pedi. I don’t do it often, but I just love getting my nails done. Having pretty nails makes me feel so confident. What have you done recently that makes you feel confident?
I was published in a national magazine! I have bee I was published in a national magazine! I have been keeping it a little secret from Instagram for a couple days, but one of my chalk paint projects was published in the June/July issue of @countrywomanmagazine! This is such an honor for me. I have dreamed of this moment and I still can’t believe it actually happened. I wrote a whole blog post that’s live now, so head to the link in my bio to read it! I am so grateful to have this space to share my ideas and designs, and to you all who support me along the way. You can find the magazine at places like Barnes and Noble, Target, Walmart, etc... all throughout the US and Canada. I can’t wait for you to read it! ❤️
One of my absolute favorite aspects of blogging ha One of my absolute favorite aspects of blogging has to be building relationships with brands that I have grown to love. @coppercure is one of my favorite shops for my love of copper and they were so generous to gift me with this pitcher. The quality is outstanding and it looks beautiful. I threw together a copper styling guide on the blog today and would love for you to check it out! The link is in my bio. ❤️
