Beyond Magnolia Market

April 3, 2017

Today I am going to be talking about a few other stores that are in Waco, Texas besides Magnolia. Obviously, Magnolia Market is amazing and I loved everything about it, but since I flew to Texas all the way from Michigan, it was nice to find some other cute places to go as well! There are so many cute little stores in Waco, and I will just be highlighting a few of them for you. If you ever plan to go down to the Magnolia Market, I would definitely suggest you put these on your list!

  1. The Findery

The Findery is literally right down to street from the Magnolia Market! It is filled with adorable home decor as well as some jewelry and women’s clothing. It wasn’t until about a year ago that I really got into decor and cute stores like this. My mom has always loved to decorate and would always find these cute little stores, but it never interested me to go to them. However, now that I’m a little older and am dreaming about how I want to decorate my own house eventually, I LOVE getting inspiration from them.

This store is mainly focused on the farmhouse look which is so popular right now. To be honest, I didn’t care care for the look that much at first, but it’s really growing on me and I’m totally a huge fan now! Shiplap, chippy paint, and cotton are definitely huge at The Findery!

I love this gorgeous display for Spring! So many flowers to brighten up any room! Have I mentioned how glad I am that winter is over? I’m in desperate need of warmth!

I loved all of the flowers that were displayed throughout the store! They had so many different kinds and they were all so perfect for Spring! I love to be surrounded by pretty things, and gorgeous flowers definitely do the trick! I love how they add color to any space, since farmhouse decor tends to be all neutral tones. I love a splash of color here and there so it doesn’t get boring!

I tried to show you as many cute things as I could throughout the store! I couldn’t capture everything so you’re just going to have to check this place out for yourself! You should definitely visit if you ever find yourself in Waco!

2. Shades of Shabby

This is another cute store in Waco. They have a lot of the farmhouse/rustic decor that is so popular right now. My mom loves the vintage and rustic decor a lot, and this store had a lot of cute pieces to fit that.

How cute is this dresser?! I wanted it myself. Also loving all of the cute mugs I saw throughout these shops!

Okay, so I’m not gonna lie… I’m totally not a fan of the copper craze that’s been going around. I just don’t like the look for my taste. But I know it’s so popular right now and this store as a lot of different copper pieces!

Overall, definitely a cute little store to visit in Waco! It’s definitely worth your time!

3. Junque in the Trunk

This was hands down one of my favorites. Everything in here was absolutely adorable!! This makes me want to open a store now even more! Hopefully soon 😉 But seriously… this store is so cute! I was watching an old episode of Fixer Upper the other day, and Chip and Joanna actually came to this store for some stuff for a house they were working on!!

Um how cute is this? I’ll take one of everything please! 🙋🏼

I can hardly contain myself just looking back at these pictures!! How cute is this stuff!! I’m definitely going to need to get a good job with the money I will be spending! 😂

I hope this post helped if you’re looking to visit Waco! These three stores are so cute and all have adorable items. Even though I didn’t buy any decorative items, I loved walking around the store looking at all of the cute displays! I knew I had to make a blog post for you all so that if you ever go down and aren’t familiar with the area, you’ll know of some other fun places to visit along with Magnolia Market!

Another decorative place in Waco is Spice Village. I don’t have any pictures, but it’s pretty much like an indoor market will little vendors everywhere! There were so many different things there! You can just get on the free trolley service from Magnolia and that will take you right to it!

I know some of you are planning to go down there soon! Let me know how you like it!! I hope you all have a great week! ❤️

Emily

This is great! Love stores like this. I see you are from Michigan… and I am not sure if you are near the Grand Rapids area, but you should definitely check out Reinsured Treasures. I discovered it when grabbing breakfast with my husband one morning. You would really enjoy it.
    Thanks for sharing!

In other news, I’m feeling so pampered after meeting up with a friend to get a mani/pedi. I don’t do it often, but I just love getting my nails done. Having pretty nails makes me feel so confident. What have you done recently that makes you feel confident?
