Since it is my birthday today, I’m going to be sharing a different kind of post. I’ve been wanting to share some more personal posts on here, so I thought I would start today. Have you ever been asked the question, “what is your dream?” I have been asked plenty of times, and I never really knew how to answer it. I’ve really begun to think about what my dreams are, and besides getting married and starting a family which is number one on my list, I thought that I would share two other goals of mine.
1. Opening a small interior design shop
This is definitely a huge dream of mine. My mom has wanted to open an interior decorating shop for as long as I can remember. I only recently got into decorating, but owning and running a small shop with my mom is something that I would absolutely love to do. Being able to find cute things for the store, creating the displays, and being able to live out your visions seems like the ultimate dream. I already have the building picked out that I want to start in! I love photography, and I think that the social media aspect of the job would be so fun for me. I actually ended up completely changing my major in college so that it would align with the business aspect of running a store so that I would be better prepared to do it. I don’t know if it will end up happening, but it is definitely one of my biggest dreams.
2. Writing a successful blog
This is another huge goal of mine. I love blogging and sharing things I’m passionate about, and I someday hope that my blog will be one that lots of people will read and get inspiration from. Even if my blog stayed small like it is now, I’m so thankful for the readers that do read and tell me that they love my content and get inspiration from it. Even if only one person read my blog posts, I would still write them and put work into them because that is what I love to do. Someday, I do hope that my blog will be widely known and recognized, that is a huge goal in my book.
