3 Ways to Volumize your Hair

November 7, 2017

Today I’m going to be sharing how I add volume to my hair. I have trouble keeping it from going flat, so I’m always looking for more ways to add volume that stays. I was recently gifted this root lifter by Voloom and I’m excited to share my thoughts on it with you.

The first way I’ll be sharing how I add volume to my hair is with this root lifter. All you have to do is clamp the under layers of hair to add some volume up top. It’s a really simple concept that works great if you have the time to do it. For me, it’s not worth it if I’m in a hurry, but if I have the time to use the product, it does add some volume to your hair. The great thing about this product is that it heats up really fast, so you can begin using it almost immediately. Shop the product here: Rootie the Rootlifter

The second way I add volume is with a root pump. I use the Big Sexy Hair root pump and put it into my roots before drying and styling. This just adds some structure and texture to your hair so that it is lifted up away from your scalp. I then blow dry my hair and style as usual.

The third way I add volume if from a texturizing powder. It is also a Big Sexy Hair product and it works so well. Don’t use too much though, because it adds A LOT of texture, so you don’t want your hair to be crisp. Just put a tiny bit under your top layers and work it through your roots.

I know there are many more ways to add volume and I would love to hear your suggestions!

Emily

**In collaboration with Statusphere and Voloom, I received this product (root lifter) for free**

In other news, I’m feeling so pampered after meeting up with a friend to get a mani/pedi. I don’t do it often, but I just love getting my nails done. Having pretty nails makes me feel so confident. What have you done recently that makes you feel confident?
