It’s almost Thanksgiving! I love this time of year so much! I usually dress up a little bit for Thanksgiving, but nothing too fancy since I’m usually at home or at a friend/family’s house. This outfit guide will be pretty simple, with one example of a dressier outfit and one casual outfit. Jeans are my go-to on Thanksgiving just because you can dress them up or down.
Casual Outfit Guide
- Jeans work well with everything. To dress them up just a little bit, pair them with a nice sweater or blazer. I’ll pair a sweater with a light scarf or a statement necklace.
- I paired the gray blazer shown below with a lace top and skinny jeans. It’s the perfect balance of casual and elegant.
- Casual dresses are also great for the holidays because they’re so comfortable. Wear a simple dress with a blanket scarf or statement necklace to complete the look.
Dressier Outfit Guide
One Thanksgiving a few years ago, my whole family went to a banquet hall for dinner, so I dressed up a little more than usual. I wore a white dress with black heels for a classic look.
- Fancy dresses are the main way I dress up fro any occasion. I usually wear fancier dresses with heels and a coordinating clutch.
- Blazers and dress pants are also a great way to dress up a little bit. Not to mention, the dress pants that I have are so comfortable, sometimes I would rather wear them than jeans. Coordinate your blazer and dress pants and wear a nice button down and statement necklace to complete this look.
- Blazers with a dressier skirt are also a great option. An example of this outfit is shown below. I paired my favorite burgundy blazer with a lace skirt, tights, heels, and a pearl statement necklace.
