Since I don’t use red after Christmas, I use a lot of greens and neutral tones for my winter decor. I still have a Christmas post with red that I’m going to be sharing either tomorrow or Friday, but I wanted to get this post up on the blog in case you were looking for some winter decor inspiration. I picked this white clock up at an antique store this past summer and I love it with my decor. I have a slight obsession with clocks and I loved the size of this one. This clock is a smaller version of the gray mora wall clock that I have in my bedroom. I liked that it was white so I didn’t have to paint it, but it can get a little boring, so the green ribbon around it made it more “complete.”
I’m still learning a lot about interior design and putting things together in a room. Thankfully, my mom helps give me some pointers on how to complete and perfect a space. I’ve talked about this chippy fence before, I picked this up at a vendor market that I went to this past summer. It was actually the market hosted by Liz Marie Galvan’s store, The Found Cottage. Her home and store are both so pretty, so I was so excited to be able to visit this vendor market. This chippy fence was the perfect addition to my bedroom, I love white chippy paint SO much! I try to find as many chippy things as I can! I put two mini olive buckets on the fence and just added some greens and cotton. My rust jingle bells are also perfect for winter decor.
Cinnamon sticks are my favorite addition to my decor this year. I love the look of them and they are perfect for any style of Christmas or winter decor you choose. Cinnamon with greens is perfect for the Scandinavian look I’ve talked a lot about this year, or any style of Christmas decor. I also use cotton pretty much year round just to add some extra texture to the look.
Vignettes can be so easy and fun to create. Feel free to check out my tips on creating the perfect vignette here. I hope you enjoyed this post! I still have a lot of blog posts planned to share with you before the end of the year!
