I can’t believe Christmas is this upcoming Monday! I certainly lost track of time this month. I had a lot of important things I had to finish up before I could relax and enjoy the Christmas season, but I’m excited to celebrate this week. This post is long over-due, but I wanted to share how I incorporated red into my Christmas decor this year. I used a lot of black and green in my decor, but I also wanted to use some red to give some color. I don’t use red after Christmas, so my winter decor is more neutral and subtle. This mistletoe bucket is one of my favorite finds this year. My mom and I both got one and love them. This red truck ornament is also a cute thing to add to make your decor feel festive.
Another thing I like to use to add red to my Christmas decor is plaid. I love plaid, (obviously 🙈) and I like to use it whenever I can. I loved this throw and thought it fit so well for Christmas. It definitely would look out of place after the holidays, so I love it for the month of December. Plaid pillows are also a great way to incorporate red into your decor.
Red berries add some texture and color to decor as well. I love greens and I tuck them basically anywhere I can. I thought these berries would work well with a small mason jar, and I loved the result. I also used some vintage looking postcards to complete the look. Basically anything with greens is guaranteed to be cute, so play around with them until you get a result that you like.
I picked this sign up from Target and loved the farmhouse look of it. This was a simple way to add some red to my decor.
The last thing I’m going to show you is this red mailbox. It adds to perfect amount of color and looks so cute. I also used this vintage black scale that I’ve been loving lately as well. My favorite color schemes are black, white, and green, so for Christmas, I added red into that mix and I love how it turned out.
I hope you enjoyed this post! Christmas decor is my absolute favorite! I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas with your families.
