My Winter Skincare Routine

January 30, 2018

I talk about skincare products quite frequently on Instagram, so I wanted to share my winter skincare products that I use since the freezing weather is horrible for my skin. The first product I want to share with you is a very unique eczema treatment. I’ve had to deal with eczema on my hands ever since I was a little girl, and it has been so stressful trying to deal with it, especially in the winter months. It has got significantly better since then, but I still have to deal with it even now, and finding products that actually work can be very challenging. I am so excited to share this amazing eczema therapy treatment by SkinSmart Antimicrobial.

This product significantly helped me by getting rid of the red, stinging sensation associated with eczema. While my skin is still dry, the redness and pain have greatly reduced. Another thing I love about this product is the formula. It looks and feels just like water and dries in a matter of seconds. There is no greasy residue left behind like with other eczema treatments I’ve used, which is great. It’s also so easy to apply, just spray it on to the desired area and you’re done, no remaining product is stuck on your hands like with lotion.

Above is a few questions and answers regarding this product. Right now this product is available in the following stores: Safeway, Albertsons, Jewel-Osco, Vons, Pavilion, Tom Thumb, Randalls, and Lunds/Bylerys. Also available on Amazon depending if weather is permitting (because the product cannot freeze.) You can also email the company at customerservice@skinsmartantimicrobial.com and they will tell you the closest store to you!

**This product and blog post is sponsored by Skinsmart and was given to me for free to try from Skinsmart Antimicrobial and Statusphere.**

The next few products I want to share with you are by Mario Badescu Skincare. This is one of my favorite skincare lines because the products work so well. I picked up this set on Black Friday and it has worked wonders for my dry skin.

I follow the instructions straight from the package:

  • Start with a clean slate. Cleanse twice daily with Enzyme Cleansing Gel (I only do once a day,) This rejuvenates the complexion.
  • Pull back your hair and scrub. Botanical Exfoliating Scrub helps to fix uneven skin tones and the texture of your skin, giving you a clear palette to work with. This also helps your skin to look healthier and makes make up go on smoother. I try to exfoliate once or twice a week.
  • Boost your complexion. With the Facial Spray with Aloe, Cucumber, and Green Tea, you can give your skin a splash of essential waters and nutrient-rich botanicals. Use this wherever, whenever!

All of these products are great for your skin, especially during the winter! I would love to know what products you use!

Emily

In other news, I’m feeling so pampered after meeting up with a friend to get a mani/pedi. I don’t do it often, but I just love getting my nails done. Having pretty nails makes me feel so confident. What have you done recently that makes you feel confident?
I was published in a national magazine! I have bee I was published in a national magazine! I have been keeping it a little secret from Instagram for a couple days, but one of my chalk paint projects was published in the June/July issue of @countrywomanmagazine! This is such an honor for me. I have dreamed of this moment and I still can’t believe it actually happened. I wrote a whole blog post that’s live now, so head to the link in my bio to read it! I am so grateful to have this space to share my ideas and designs, and to you all who support me along the way. You can find the magazine at places like Barnes and Noble, Target, Walmart, etc... all throughout the US and Canada. I can’t wait for you to read it! ❤️
One of my absolute favorite aspects of blogging ha One of my absolute favorite aspects of blogging has to be building relationships with brands that I have grown to love. @coppercure is one of my favorite shops for my love of copper and they were so generous to gift me with this pitcher. The quality is outstanding and it looks beautiful. I threw together a copper styling guide on the blog today and would love for you to check it out! The link is in my bio. ❤️
