My Favorite Spring Accent Pillow

May 1, 2018

I recently won a pillow giveaway from Indigo Tangerine and fell in love as soon as I got it in the mail. Her pillows are really great quality and are also a good size. I’m always looking for different ways to style my decor and look for unique and creative ways to set things up. When you think of throw pillows, usually they’re grouped with other pillows on a bed, sofa, chair, etc… I tried to come up with a cute way to use this accent pillow and I really like the result. I have a large mora wall clock in my bedroom and that is a main focal point in the room.

I have a small bench right in front of my clock in the corner of the room. I put textured pillows and different items on the bench to tie everything together. In this vignette, I filled my black container (I don’t know what exactly it’s called 🙈) with faux eucalyptus and some pins. It’s so simple, yet makes a really cute spring piece. I love that I can change it up for every season, and for spring, eucalyptus looked perfect.

If you’ve followed my Instagram or blog for any amount of time, you know I like to mix a lot of gray and black together, with added pops of green. My favorite greens are faux sage plants and faux eucalyptus. I use greens all year long and they are definitely something I can’t decorate without.

Back to the pillow, I loved the bunny for spring, and I even use it after Easter. It fits in so well in this corner, and would also look good with different colors since it’s black and white. I’m really enjoying playing with the different spring pieces that I have and I can’t wait to show you more of them.

It’s hard to move past things that hurt so deeply. I hope you will find peace in this post, because I understand how difficult letting go can be.

In other news, I’m feeling so pampered after meeting up with a friend to get a mani/pedi. I don’t do it often, but I just love getting my nails done. Having pretty nails makes me feel so confident. What have you done recently that makes you feel confident?

One of my absolute favorite aspects of blogging ha One of my absolute favorite aspects of blogging has to be building relationships with brands that I have grown to love. @coppercure is one of my favorite shops for my love of copper and they were so generous to gift me with this pitcher. The quality is outstanding and it looks beautiful. I threw together a copper styling guide on the blog today and would love for you to check it out! The link is in my bio. ❤️
