A Winter Picnic

I am so excited to share this post with you! I mentioned that I would be sharing some winter decor ideas and I love the idea of a winter picnic. The combined textures of the cable knit basket, plaid throw, fresh greens, and black candlestick holders make a great table setting. I love fresh flowers in the spring and summer, and also love to use fresh greens in the winter months. I actually just picked these ones up when my family went to get our Christmas tree. They add that great pine scent to your home and look a lot better than faux greenery in my opinion.

These black candlestick holders are from Target. They were part of the fall/Christmas collection so they are sold out now, but similar ones are so easy to find. The magnolia home collection as well as Pottery Barn has some great similar options!

This cream cable knit basket is also perfect for winter decor. I bought it around Christmas time when it was on clearance and ended up getting it for under $12! I was so excited that my jaw literally dropped when I saw it! If you know me, then you know I love anything plaid or cable knit, which is why I love this table setting.

This plaid throw is also new. I picked it up recently from TJ Maxx on clearance as well. TJ Maxx and Homegoods have really great options for throws so if you’re ever looking for one, I would suggest looking there!
