Cozy Plaid Tablescape

February 9, 2019

I’ve been obsessed with putting tablescapes together recently and I just put another one up. I think they’re one of my favorite things to decorate! Mixing textures with greenery and other elements is so fun. I used a plaid table throw from Pottery Barn and a throw pillow, tree, and candlestick holders from Target.

While I was putting this look together, I was shown just how important greenery is in decorating. It makes everything look put together and much more complete. Below is an image of this table setting without the greenery around the candlesticks. What a HUGE difference! And not in a good way! This picture looks so incomplete and boring. In the photos with greenery added, you’ll be able to see how much greenery adds.

In my opinion, tables capes are very simple to create because you don’t need a million different things to make them cute. Something as simple as greenery and some candlesticks will look nice. Add a tablecloth or table runner if you want some contrast between the decor and the table. I love cozy textures and this pillow went perfectly with the plaid throw.

I hope you enjoyed this post. I’m planning for some spring tablescape ideas as well, since spring is (hopefully) right around the corner!

Emily
