Spring is finally here, and if you’re anything like me, you’re trying to find some pretty spring elements to brighten up your space. Lucky for you, you’re in the right place! Decorating for spring can be very simple, and if you have the right pieces, it will look effortless and beautiful. There are a few basic décor pieces that will get you on the right track to making your home fresh and inviting for spring. I’ll be sharing a few of the basics that I use to get my creative juices flowing and on track to creating some beautiful spring vignettes.
Greens
Something as simple as fresh or faux spring greens can brighten up a space and make it inviting. Greens are easy to stick in vignettes, open shelving, vases, and other areas around your home to instantly make everything look put together.
Flowers
This is pretty much a given, but fresh flowers are always a great way to make your home fresh and colorful. I also like to find realistic looking faux flowers as well because they last forever. Putting flowers in a classic vase, galvanized bucket, or on your mantel are just a few of the many ideas that you could use flowers for.
Spring Pillows
I love to use throw blankets and pillows year round and spring time is no exception. Spring pillows can add texture and detail to complete a room. I am a huge lover of black and white, so I like to use neutral colored pillows and then accessorize with bright colored flowers like shown above.
Adding these simple elements to your home will instantly make it feel more like spring. All of these can be customized to fit your exact décor style and hopefully will make you want to host and invite others into your home. It really is so simple to create a home that you enjoy and can be proud to call your own. It only takes a little creativity and inspiration to create something that you love!
