The Wool Plaid Tote

December 15, 2020

I have been meaning to post about this plaid bag for quite a while now and I finally have the time to sit down and chat with you about it. Life has been so hectic and crazy lately so it feels nice to finally be on my Christmas break for a few weeks. I wish I could devote more time to posting blog articles and I’m hoping to get more up this week, including all of my Christmas decor for this year! Anyways, I want to share this AMAZING plaid tote bag I bought a couple of months ago. Trust me, you’re going to love it. I had to self-quarantine back in October because of some close contact with Covid, so I used that time to do some online shopping. (Obviously)

I have been looking for the perfect plaid tote to add to my closet and this was exactly what I had been wanting. The price point was also great and it is such a good quality bag. The green and blue plaid is a favorite of mine and goes so well with everything in the fall and winter months, so this is definitely a bag that will be getting a lot of use.

For this specific look, I paired it with an outfit that would be versatile for both fall and winter. I love a good trench coat and riding boots and wear them all the time. The bag looked so timeless and paired perfectly with jeans, a trench, and some nice boots. For Christmas, I would even pair this bag with a favorite cozy sweater and some leggings or a casual Christmas dress.

One of the things that I love about this specific plaid is that is is so versatile. While some plaids are distinctly fall or Christmas plaids, this one can be used for more that one season. The wool is a cozy texture that does tend to match a little more with the colder months, so this is a perfect transition bag for those chilly times of the year.

Unfortunately, the website does not have this exact style back in stock, but if you click here, you can view the other items that this shop has in this print! There is still a cute circular option available! I can’t wait to share more of this bag and use it throughout the Christmas season. Let me know what you think!

For more inspiration and ideas, find me on Instagram @prettyinplaids. I hope you enjoyed this post! Now, onto my Christmas decor!

With love, Emily

In other news, I’m feeling so pampered after meeting up with a friend to get a mani/pedi. I don’t do it often, but I just love getting my nails done. Having pretty nails makes me feel so confident. What have you done recently that makes you feel confident?
I was published in a national magazine! I have bee I was published in a national magazine! I have been keeping it a little secret from Instagram for a couple days, but one of my chalk paint projects was published in the June/July issue of @countrywomanmagazine!
