Equestrian-Inspired Interior Design

August 2, 2021

Is anyone else excited to start decorating for fall? I can’t wait to bring out all of my plaid blankets, pillows, fall stems, and pumpkins. I was recently inspired by my English heritage and have found a love of the equestrian style of decor. I love the look of Ralph Lauren and this style reminds me so much of that. The classic details and moody colors bring fall to the forefront of my mind. I have gathered some inspiring images from Pinterest and couldn’t wait to share them with you all here. I am wanting to incorporate some equestrian style into my fall decor this year so let’s take a look at what I’m loving.

Ralph Lauren

I just love the look of Ralph Lauren. The classic look and feel is perfect for fall. The way these plaids are mixed with an equestrain theme is beautiful.

I love the white chippy paint with the scale and riding boots. Such a beautiful combination!

Obsessed with these french doors and window treatments.

I will one day have an interior like this one in my house. I hope so, at least.

I hope you enjoyed this post. I am not bringing out any fall decor yet but I love to get inspired for it during the month of August so I thought you might want to as well! I look forward to sharing a few more summer posts with you all and then jumping in to all things fall! And if you want to feel even more inspired, I linked my autumn Pinterest board below if you want to take a look!

With Love, Em

To the girl that can’t let it go, I hear you. I To the girl that can’t let it go, I hear you. I wrote a new blog post just for you, up on prettyinplaids.com now. ❤️ Forgiveness is hard. It’s hard to move past things that hurt so deeply. I hope you will find peace in this post, because I understand how difficult letting go can be.

In other news, I’m feeling so pampered after meeting up with a friend to get a mani/pedi. I don’t do it often, but I just love getting my nails done. Having pretty nails makes me feel so confident. What have you done recently that makes you feel confident?
I was published in a national magazine! I have bee I was published in a national magazine! I have been keeping it a little secret from Instagram for a couple days, but one of my chalk paint projects was published in the June/July issue of @countrywomanmagazine! This is such an honor for me. I have dreamed of this moment and I still can’t believe it actually happened. I wrote a whole blog post that’s live now, so head to the link in my bio to read it! I am so grateful to have this space to share my ideas and designs, and to you all who support me along the way. You can find the magazine at places like Barnes and Noble, Target, Walmart, etc... all throughout the US and Canada. I can’t wait for you to read it! ❤️
One of my absolute favorite aspects of blogging ha One of my absolute favorite aspects of blogging has to be building relationships with brands that I have grown to love. @coppercure is one of my favorite shops for my love of copper and they were so generous to gift me with this pitcher. The quality is outstanding and it looks beautiful. I threw together a copper styling guide on the blog today and would love for you to check it out! The link is in my bio. ❤️

It is so beautiful out and I wanted to share these spring inspired cards that I recently made. They are so simple and you can find all of the supplies at your local @hobbylobby.
